School and Life Skills

The majority of children living in situations of forced labor and/or poverty—whose rights are violated on a daily basis—have either been expelled from the formal education system or are often unprepared to participate in it. In School and Life Skills, we seek to reclaim the right to education for these children, providing them with access to the educational opportunities that they deserve.

In order for children to achieve school success, we include life skills activities to accompany our educational programs. Working one-on-one with each child, we collaborate with local schools to ensure that each child has the necessary support to succeed in school, based upon his or her specific needs.

The School and Life Skills team supports students through the following activities:

  • Educational Psychology: one-on-one attention, literacy workshop, educational games
  • Educational Support
  • Emotional support for the educational reintegration process
