Method of Intervention

We work on a case-by-case basis with a team of professionals to evaluate the specific context from which each child comes. With this information, we develop a plan of intervention that starts with the family. Once we have the support of the family, we reach out to each child, inviting him or her to participate in a number of our activities and programs.

  • Action for Children’s Rights

PETISOS began its work in 2002 with the primary objective of preventing and eradicating child labor through a variety of direct interventions with child laborers, their families and the community. Working with a team of professional psychologists, we use a community-based approach to provide activities, programs and training organized around the following types of intervention:
